GUIDED READING Y1 NOV. 2007
GUIDED READING SESSION YEAR 1 Nov. 2009 This video clip shows a Guided Reading session in Year 1 by the end of the year. There are four reading groups, grouped according to the children´s reading strategies. For this session we had some help from our visitors: Silvia, Andrea and Monica, Heads and teachers of Colegio Newlands in Adrogue, who came to see how CSA children learn phonics. Thanks for coming and helping us with the reading!

The Literacy Hour
This video shows a Literacy session beginning with Phonics, revisit and review of some sounds and Reading questions proving correct blending checking for understanding. Just then it continues with a Shared Reading session and ends up with a Shared Writing session connected with the previous reading activity.
